One of America's largest private equity houses is rumoured to be interested in buying DXC Technology, the US-listed IT services group.

Last week, Bloomberg reported that DXC had been approached by at least one private equity firm.

People following the situation had heard talk KKR & Co is one of the buy-out houses that is looking at DXC.

However, it's not clear whether DXC is open to a deal with a private equity house...

Adobe Inc has confirmed it is buying design application Figma for $20 billion, proving once again there is a strong appetite for dealmaking, especially in the US technology market.

Eutelsat Communications said to be in merger talks with OneWeb, according to Bloomberg

Arch rivals at Bloomberg have just broken a decent story about Eutelsat Communications holding merger talks with OneWeb this afternoon.

According to Bloomie, British satellite firm OneWeb is nearing a deal to combine with France’s Eutelsat Communications in a transaction that would create a pan-European operator that could better compete with Elon Musk’s Starlink project...


Broadcom in talks to buy VMWare for over $50 billion, reveal Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal

A big deal story broke yesterday evening in the US - Broadcom, the US-listed chipmaker, is said to be in talks to buy VMWare, a cloud computing company.

Well, that's according to reports at Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal, which seem to suggest talks about a cash and stock deal are "advanced".
